My name is Josiah Zanghi and I am DJ Turia
Discovering music, making playlists and attending concerts have been big hobbies for 20 years. I started DJing to get even more connected with music and then started this business to share my love of music with others!
My wife Kaley operates Kaley Rae Photography and has been photographing weddings for more than a decade. I’ve learned much about the wedding industry from her including communication with clients and the services that vendors provide.
What’s Turia?
The name Turia (pronounced TOO-ree-ah) comes from a park in Valencia, Spain called Jardín del Turia.
The park is located on a former riverbed that cuts through the entire city. Countless events and gatherings take place in it throughout the year. I spent a semester studying in Valencia and a couple of the many effects it had on me were that my love for dancing and dance music were elevated. Music brings people together like the Turia does and water flows through rivers like sound flows through us while we dance. I want to facilitate great experiences when people get together.
